Tauranga Campus

The University of Waikato Tauranga campus is an exciting, albeit smaller institution offering  the people of the Bay of Plenty easier access to university study, lifestyle and qualifications.

There are approximately 150 papers available to study, predominately undergraduate level, classes are delivered by University of Waikato lecturing staff- either Tauranga based or commuting from the Hamilton campus. With a low lecturer to student ratio, Tauranga Campus provides a beneficial learning environment for its students.

Waikato qualifications that can be studied in full at Tauranga include the Bachelor of Business Analysis – Financial, Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Social Work, and a Diploma in Law. The campus also offers few qualifications that can be started in Tauranga, such as the Bachelor of Science, though it can only be completed at the Hamilton campus.

A popular holiday destination, Tauranga and its surrounding communities’ beautiful harbors and long white sand beaches are an ideal setting for this intimate campus.

Like all Waikato Students, those studying at the Tauranga campus are full members of the Waikato Students’ Union and can access all the services we offer.

For more information about the Tauranga campus feel free to come in and see us at the WSU reception.
