Born and raised in Hamilton, the mountain with which I identify is Pirongia (after leaping off Taranaki), the river with which I identify is Waikato(the whanau held Patea close historically), the lake with which I identify is is Kopuera, and I would have to consider my local hood to be Horahora, Rangiriri. Final papers in BSC(Tech) Resource & Environmental Planning programme. Love, life, music, and nature - where all four merge I like.
Looks like a great line up around campus for Oweek. WSU orienting with fun and games campus wide, and keeping students in contact is relief from the disorientation of getting into/back into studies. Look out for the Stunt (K)nut, SORA SHIMA and a bunch of local acts being brought to you in association with WSU on Friday night. Hit the Land of Liquor if you are thinking of heading off campus, but wanna few primers in a safe space first...
